I’m Pat Ploypairaoh, a Computational and Data Science student at George Mason University. I’m interested in using data to understand practical problems and communicate findings that people can act on.
My projects include analyzing two years of audiovisual inventory records to identify tracking gaps and recommend improvements, and testing how well offline, text-based models assess misinformation risk. Alongside technical work, my experience with George Mason University Student Centers and student leadership has strengthened how I organize projects, work with others, and explain results.
Outside my technical work, I served as president of a nearly 40-member Beta Theta Pi chapter. I introduced a budget to address a $5,000 inherited debt and earned unanimous chapter approval. As vice president of recruitment for George Mason’s Interfraternity Council, I helped introduce a shared recruiting system across 15 fraternities; more than 100 new members joined during its first semester.
